Nicholas Howell – Hylton Handmade Silver

I have lived in Ilfracombe since 2001.  In the summer of 2022 I had to leave my full time career due to worsening Rheumatoid Arthritis.  I therefore felt the need for a new challenge.  I was gifted a silversmith workshop with the very talented Bob Thompson (Lazy Dog Silver).  This inspired me to start repurposing rings from vintage sterling silver spoons, which then led me to making my own jewellery using recycled 925 silver.

I really enjoy the creative process, and am continually learning new methods.

The majority of my rings can be made to size, so please enquire should you have specific requirements.
